Kentucky Women Writers Conference 2016

Happy to have attended this year's Kentucky Women Writers Conference! I had the privilege of participating in a poetry workshop with Deborah Landau, who, despite having to fill in for another poet at the last minute, was both generous and insightful. There were too many excellent events to list in full here, but I especially enjoyed hearing Lisa Russ Spaar and Crystal Wilkinson read from their newest books, as well as Mary Karr's craft talk on memoir. Special thanks to Julie Wrinn, Catherine Brereton, and the KWWC board for awarding me with a Postgraduate Scholarship to attend this fantastic event.
